Diablo 4 servers not working?
Diablo 4 is now live. Blizzard has confirmed that there are problems with their authentication servers. This is causing “failed or slower login attempts” as well as Diablo 4 error code 30202 for many players. The team has “reduced log-in rates to relieve pressure on servers”, which has now resolved the issue.
The servers might go down temporarily due to maintenance or server strain. We know from previous Diablo launch experiences that high queues and connectivity issues can be expected in the first few hours after the game launches.

Diablo 4’s authenticating servers are having problems, as confirmed on the Blizzard Customer Service twitter account. The account said that they’re currently “investigating an issue affecting [our] authentication servers, which can result in failed login attempts or slow login efforts.”
We expect these issues to decrease in frequency as the server populations stabilize, reducing any chance of an overload. Diablo 4 and previous beta test experienced some initial connectivity issues. However, these tests are specifically designed to simulate this. So if you had a lot of trouble in the Beta, you may find that your experience at launch is different.
